Rooty-toot-toot, and thanks for scooting over! Stewart’s calls itself a Fountain Classic. Talk about conveying the imagery of a cold and frothy mug of crisp root beer. Well, I’m not reviewing Mug right now, so I’ll have to make do with this bottle of Stewart’s. Let’s not be confused though, this is the Original Stewart’s we’re talking about. Rooty-tooty-point-and-what? Stewart’s has decided to go with the classic dark bottle design. Imbued with a raised Stewart’s logo, their bottle is definitely fitting. The real seller though, is the Stewart’s logo plastered to the front. The barrel-like mug really pulls you in,…

The long awaited Faygo bottled root beer. This is a real treat for me. I know that Faygo has a long running history, especially as an alternative (and vastly more affordable) to traditional brands. It’s been a pretty prominent part of my childhood. However, I’ve never had a chance to really get my hands on a bottled version of any of their pop, let alone root beer. Leave a CommentJones Soda Co. has recently been doing a big Made in Michigan campaign, which has definitely caught my eye; despite the company being from Seattle. Being from the so-called murder mitten, I’ve grown accustomed to the derogatory statements that accompany places like Detroit and Flint. Based on Jones Soda’s reputation, I’m really expecting this brew to be good, and I hope I’m not disappointed. I’m Jonesing for Jones Root Beer Jones bottling is pretty standard, and doesn’t really look any different from…
Leave a CommentSoothing Beverage for the Traveler We all know that I’m a big fan of root beers, but I’m also a bit of a fan of ginger beers (well… depending.) Much like root beers, ginger beers come in a wide variety of styles, from traditionally Jamaican, spicy and infused with ginger, to the more westernized style that seems to be gently flavored carbonated water. I have never heard of a ginger root beer, so I’m not sure if Anchor Ginger Root Beer is going to be a combination of those two distinct flavors, or simply a ginger beer. Yarr, Scallywags! Drop…
