Soothing Beverage for the Traveler We all know that I’m a big fan of root beers, but I’m also a bit of a fan of ginger beers (well… depending.) Much like root beers, ginger beers come in a wide variety of styles, from traditionally Jamaican, spicy and infused with ginger, to the more westernized style that seems to be gently flavored carbonated water. If you haven’t heard of Frostie, I completely understand. Around here, it’s known for being a traditional root beer with a long history. Right on the cap, instead of some type of marketing tagline, you’ll find Since 1939. That should say enough, apparently. In any case, I haven’t had Frostie in a very long time—to the point that I can’t even remember how it tastes. I’m hoping it really surprises me, and brings me back down memory lane. In fact, my first impression is that this is going to be sparkling water, akin to Clearly Canadian, rather than a traditional root beer. According to the label: Sky Valley‘s Root Beer combines the highest-quality organic ingredients for a crisp, refreshing beverage that quenches your thirst. Enjoy! A Twist on Classic Enjoyment Hopefully, I will enjoy, Sky Valley. At least, I’ll try my best. I’m expecting…
Leave a CommentA creamy root beer? That’s a curious way to describe a drink. Zuberfizz Creamy Root Beer markets itself as a classic draft soda, and so far what I’m expecting is a frothy root beer float packed into a bottle. You know, that sweet, vanilla-laced drink that’s cold and satiates you on a hot day? Oh man, irresistible! Alright, Zuberfizz, let’s see if you can satisfy me. Let’s Get Creamy? Zuberfizz looks impressive. It makes heavy use of dark, earthy colors, specifically reds, greens, yellows, and browns. The logo is prominent, the printing is nice, and the label itself offers a…
