Soothing Beverage for the Traveler We all know that I’m a big fan of root beers, but I’m also a bit of a fan of ginger beers (well… depending.) Much like root beers, ginger beers come in a wide variety of styles, from traditionally Jamaican, spicy and infused with ginger, to the more westernized style that seems to be gently flavored carbonated water. If you haven’t heard of Frostie, I completely understand. Around here, it’s known for being a traditional root beer with a long history. Right on the cap, instead of some type of marketing tagline, you’ll find Since 1939. That should say enough, apparently. I have this strange feeling that Natural Brew is going to remind me of Virgil’s, especially after reading the small bit of text above that’s associated with the label. Leave a CommentApologies for the small break, but I hope to get started on a more productive schedule soon. IBC is considered a classic brew. This is the type of root beer you see all over the place. Hopefully for good reason. Despite the fact that I’ve heard, and seen this one all over, I don’t think I’ve actually taken the time to really taste it.
