Polar

The brew that I’m about to try, Polar, dates its establishment to 1882. I’m excited to see if despite all the marvels of modern technology, something claiming to be so old can wrestle with the rest of these younger generation root beers. I’ve heard of Polar before, but I’ve never had the opportunity to give it a try. That changes, today. I have a strange feeling that it’s going to be a classic drink—something that I can really sink my taste buds into. Polar Bears: Expert Crafters of Root Beer? Brownie Caramel Cream Root Beer

With Virgil’s, I’m reinvigorated. After the first few duds, Virgil’s really gave me the fire I needed to continue this little delve into the world of root beer. Okay, let’s give it another shot, and for today’s article I’ve chosen something that I’ve had my eye on for quite a while. Brownie Caramel Cream Root Beer. Now, to be fair, I’m not a big fan of caramel, but I’m not going into this thinking Brownie is glorified Werther’s Original candies. Virgil’s Micro Brewed Root Beer

Please Note: This review was performed in 2016, when a possible older recipe of Virgil’s Micro Brewed Root Beer was being sold by Reed’s Inc. If you come across a label that differs from the one in this review, you may not be experiencing the same root beer that this review describes.  I have to admit that I’m excited for Virgil’s. It’s been a little while, but if I’m remembering correctly, this is one of those brands that has set the standard for the industry. I have to admit, after my last three experiences, I feel I’m due for something…

Sky Valley Organic Root Beer

Self-described as a crisp, sparkling organic soda, Sky Valley Organic Root Beer doesn’t sound very traditional at all. In fact, my first impression is that this is going to be sparkling water, akin to Clearly Canadian, rather than a traditional root beer. I’m a little hesitant going into this one, as my previous two excursions were fairly disappointing. According to the label: Sky Valley‘s Root Beer combines the highest-quality organic ingredients for a crisp, refreshing beverage that quenches your thirst. Enjoy! A Twist on Classic Enjoyment Hopefully, I will enjoy, Sky Valley. At least, I’ll try my best. I’m expecting…
